I might have taken more travel related photos of Wales than any other country (it's only a one hour drive away from home). It's largely mountainous and one of the wettest countries in Europe, which helps explain why there are plenty of excellent waterfalls. I like waterfalls, and castles are great too. There are also lots of castles in Wales.
Wales is great for walking and in 2012 it became the first country in the world to have a 'formal trail' (some other country must have had an informal trail) following the whole coastline.
